SIMON SAYS : What's the best way to get & stay FIT SIMON SAYS : What's the best way to get & stay FITTER?
🤷‍♂️🤔😎👉
1. Keep it SIMPLE where you're more inclined to do it.
2. You simply have to be CONSISTENT, so every 2nd day at least, just do something slightly strenuous.
3. Do it with a GROUP, where you're more likely to do it, because others are, because it's more fun, more accountable, you're part of a positive CIRCLE OF INFLUENCE!
4. Exercise OUTDOORS! Where it just feels better, the scenery changes or is just more amazing, or invigorates you more.
5. You're a Human, who was MADE TO MOVE, and belongs outside with the world as your gym or playground!

THINGS TO CHANGE OR FORGET.. 👉🛑
1. it's NEVER a weight-loss thing!
That changes when your Eating changes! Exercise is a GAIN, a strength gain, a cardio gain, a mood gain. 
2. It's NEVER on show!
Do it for your body's FUNCTION, the only real Judge. Not for others, not for opinions, not to show off online. Your body needs you to feel strong, to feel cardio capable, to feel healthy, to FUNCTION well!
3. The Latest Trend..
Constant Variety is the killer of Consistency! 
If you do different things every day/week/month you'll never truly get good at any one thing..
Stick to one CONSISTENT thing you do 3 days a week, and other complimentary things on day 2, 4 & 6.

My one best question to clients or anyone who says they suck at something..
"How often do you do it..?" 🤷‍♂️🤨💪😑

But one thing, is FOREVER, is guaranteed, doesn't need prior training, doesn't need a certain ability, is free, anytime, anywhere, anyway possible..

What an amazing thing these days, in a world of e-bikes, 100 different fitness trends, quick fixes etc, that going for a ride, on a bike, with pedals, with your actual legs, even outdoors.. can be. 
In this photo, in 2019, my wife and I rode around the massively beautiful Osaka, just cruisin, taking in the sites, stopping to eat, grab a coffee, visit Osaka castle (where we walked 200 steps up), and did we cover some big KMs..
but it made you realise when you get home..
HOW LAZY WE ARE.. because we own cars etc 
😓
As kids, we love riding bikes.. ask my 5 & 3 yr old.
They're non impact. 
They're a great way to exercise without saying that word.. workout.
They're an awesome way to explore. 
They're a convenient way to travel in a small town where we know we can even walk places, but for some reason we choose to drive still 🤦‍♂️
We simply need to do it more, because we can, and because we should.
So..
SIMON SAYS :
Grab a bike 
Grab the fam, friend, or just yourself
Go for a RIDE
Go have some fun
Go get in some active outdoor exercise
Move your legs
Go explore
Do it while you can
Appreciate the simple pleasures in life again. 
And..
Stop.. being.. lazy.
Being active isn't always WORKOUTS 
Healthy isn't always DIETS
Life isn't always structure, routines, efficiency, work..
Enjoy a cruisy ride. Because.

Why do you think people love Surfing? Snowboarding? Mountain Hikes?
It has nothing to do with working out, burning calories etc etc
It's the feeling they get doing it.
You don't think about bills, work, cleaning the house.. (kids haha) whatever stresses you normally have.
But it's EASY to make it (whatever it is) an Every Day Habit. 
If your Environment is Good
You Feel Good. 
Then you are Good 💪😎 
(And.. You're getting a workout)

It's coming into that time of the year again.
Where for most, it's lovely to train again
