👉 EFFORT
Turn up, everyday, to some kind of exercise and put in effort. Effort that the activity demands a minimum.
Do it properly, to get the benefits, or why bother..
But every time you turn up, turn up.
Say.. "I'm doing this, and at the least, I'm going to try my best."
Get something out of every action.

👉 PURPOSE
if you're going to try 'this thing', then 'that thing', then do 1 thing for a week, another thing for 3 weeks.. none will work.
Simon Says : "You're only good at what you do regularly"
You Say : "I'm trying to lose weight, so I'm going to start doing 4 days a week of (insert trend), but still snack on junk and drink (booze) all weekend" 🤦‍♂️
So instead, HAVE PURPOSE..
💪 I want to get Stronger! (Is the purpose)
🛑 Stop saying, i want to be toned. Toned is just 'seeing muscles'. Muscles you'll get from getting stronger & eating better.
💪 I want to get Fitter! (the purpose)
🛑 Stop saying i want to lose weight. That comes from getting Fitter, regular fitness, and from again, eating better, regularly.
🥦 I want to be Healthy! (the purpose)
🛑 Stop sabotaging. Stop buying the crap you know you need to cut out. Cut down the booze. Drink more water. Get more sleep. Stop buying trendy supps & shakes that you don't really need if you get enough of the right proteins & nutrients from real regular whole foods.

👉 BASICS
Everyone is after the max burn, the high intensity thrashing, the big weights, the machines, the events..
🤔🤨
But can you do a decent push up? 3 min plank? 2 min squat hold or wall sit?
Can you run 1k well, before signing up to a tri or marathon?
Do you have good balance, coordination or technique before signing onto a sport, event or even just progressing your workout?
FOCUS ON THE BASICS FIRST!
.
Don't over complicate everything.
Do simple & boring. Do it well. It works.
And just BE CONSISTENT!
