Nutrition
One of, if not, the most vital part of maintaining a healthy lifestyle is what we put in our mouths.
Exercise is so important for keeping a high metabolism, working muscles, and a happy, healthy, active body, but without the right fuel to drive our bodies, keep them clean, and working efficiently, like anything, can break down.

Here, in these nutrition pages, you will find information about healthy eating, setting lifestyle habits, food types, nutrients & benefits, tasty recipes and much more.

Any questions what so ever, please don't hesitate to email me, or put up some topics in the SSPT BLOG for everyone to chat about and swap advice and tips.

Key Points :
A FOOD DIARY - Start by writing down a FOOD DIARY for one week, just to see what your current eating habits are like. For some, not until we do this, can we see what our daily intake consists of.

5 to 7 MEALS -
Look to increase your eating to 5-7 small to medium sized meals a day, compared to just 3 large meals, of breakfast, lunch and dinner. More regular smaller meals will boost your metabolism, as your body will have to be constantly processing food for energy etc, with no need to store any for later.

MODERATION
- If you love treats, thats OK, moderation will become your new challenge, but look to become more conscious of what's going in your mouth, how often, and what it's doing to your body.

FRUIT & VEGETABLES
- The foods we all need, don't get enough of, and can be surprised by some of the amazing benefits these simple foods can offer us. Trying to add more of these each day are important, and eventually find ourselves snacking on things like apples, bananas, carrot, broccoli etc, would be far better than chips, chocolates, and other high sugar content foods, with far less nutrients.
