We come up to Noosa often for holidays. In the past we joined local gyms to train at – but in 2009 we decided to try a PT.
We found Simon on the web & got a basic idea of his training philosophy. We liked the fact that it was a tailored training session that would accommodate our different fitness levels.
BUT – what impressed us most about Simon’s training methodology – is how simple yet effective it is. He has shown us a new way to exercise – that can be done anywhere – using resistance, strength training and cardio. We liked it so much that we have incorporated it into our regular fitness program at home.
Another thing that we really like about training in Noosa with Simon, is that he comes out to see us and trains us at our house a couple times a week. As we have two young kids, this makes exercise easy & a regular part of our holiday – rather than something that is ‘too hard’.
As we all know – having a holiday can too often be an excuse to pack on some weight – we no longer worry about that.

I got into group PT sessions twice a week with Simon (SSPT) along with some friends as a social way of getting fit.
I have never been interested in going to a gym, I find it difficult to self-motivate, but love exercising outdoors and with SSPT I can’t wait for tomorrow’s session!!!
I feel like Simon is watching every move I make, and helping to guide me and correct any mistakes. 6 months ago I could barely do a push-up on my knees (Simon said I was simply nodding at the floor), now I am doing ‘real’ pushups on my toes, and getting fitter every session.
I also love the occasional one on one session as a test of how well I’m doing in the group sessions. Thanks Simon for all your help and also advice about exercise and healthy eating!

Holidays are just not conducive to exercise……or so I thought!
I have never been able to keep motivated to exercise while on our family holidays to Coolum.
Which usually means an extra couple of kilos to loose on my return home….ouch! Things had to change.
Feeling some what out of my comfort zone I tentatively contacted Simon Says Personal Training via email and arranged our first PT session. From our first meeting I felt completely comfortable with Simon and his enthusiasm for outdoor training. Each PT session is unique and the choices of beaches and parks to work out in are spectacular. “Running on a beach” is so much more appealing than just “running”.
Through Simons care and tireless encouragement, never allowing me to take the easy way out I am feeling much fitter, achieving goals and not taking any excess luggage home with me. Exercising is now a very enjoyable part of my holidays….. and he also throws in his knowledge of the coast for free!

Exercise has always been something I knew I should do but motivation has always played a huge part in keeping up a regular exercise routine. I started gaining a lot of weight in early 2010 and as a result of this I started to become extremely self conscious. It all got a little too much one weekend so I decided to Google Personal Trainers and that’s when I stumbled across Simon. It has been 4 months now and Simon has improved so many aspects of my life. Although I have lost the weight, by far the biggest transformation has been my confidence. I have had the most wonderful journey and I couldn’t have done it without such a special person. Simon has such a vast knowledge of different exercise techniques and he constantly has something new and challenging to try at each session. Although there are some moments I wished he never learnt what a ‘Burpie’ was, I can appreciate that he discovers all of my weaknesses and eventually turns them into strengths.
I work full time and I never thought I would willingly wake up in the dark at 5am on a Winters morning just to exercise. When you truly have someone who is genuinely there because they believe in you and want to help you achieve your dreams, its more then enough motivation to get there and give it your all. Simon has always been there to offer support and advice, whether it be a text message to motivate me to exercise at home or some guidance in making the right food choices. I thoroughly enjoy every session but even more so the amazing happy energy and confidence I have for the rest of the day.
This experience so far has truly changed my life and I am forever grateful for the time and energy you have invested in me.
Thank you Simon for all that you are and all that you have given me so far.
I look forward to seeing you on Monday to do it all over again.
