Core Training
"Abs, Flat stomach, sexy midsection.."
Which ever of these, or more, you most likely have heard in your lifetime.. It is what sits close to, or at, the top of the priority list for most regular fitness beginners.

With my training methods, YES, core training is vitally important, if not, the, main focus.
But this is only so, as i believe it is what drives our body, and without it being strong and capable of everyday activity, we can forget feeling our best.

The problem most people have is seeing past the 'superficial' reasons for training for a strong core. It's based on energy, and producing that level of energy required for the task at hand. Also to assit with avoiding back pain, strength for heavy lifting, balance, agility.. you name it, without our core fine tuned, there will be something we'll have trouble with in our lifetime.

IF all you want is so called 'sexy abs'.. and you don't have them yet? Then here's a tip for you..
"EAT BETTER !"
What most of us are oblivious to, is that, we all have 'the six pack', as our muscles generally are all shaped the same.. They're more likely just covered with that unwanted enemy..'FAT'. To be able to see them at their best like our favourite sports stars or celebrities, ask them what they do (the actual health conscious ones that is, not the fad diet advertisers).
It's all about nutrition and healthy eating, and lots of it, to spark the metabolism to burn off that layer of surrounding fat, to define, tighten & tone our bodies.

To learn more about healthy eating and stripping fat, check out the nutrition pages!

As far as the rest of the core info goes, sticking to my training philosophy which is keep it simple, the CORE or PLANK hold, will become your best friend as far as core exercises go, there are obviously lots more, but if you're looking for a starting point, none better.
